The seventh annual Mudrijada – World Testicle Cooking Championship – is currently being held in Ozrem, Serbia, now considered one of the testosterone capitals of the world. Winners will be announced later this week, with results carried in foodnews.
Ozrem is an isolated Serbian hill country town that hosts the “Ball Cup” and Testival Festival every year. The event is the idea of chef, Ljubomir Erovic who has published a cookbook on the pleasures of testicles.
This year contestants are working with a wide range of testicular ingredients, including bull’s balls, sheep balls, goat balls, stallion balls, camel balls, boar’s balls, ostrich balls and even kangaroo balls. Compulsory dishes for each contestant include balls in béchamel sauce and testicle pizza.
