Lion Nathan New Zealand has announced the appointment of Ben Glover, Chief Winemaker at Wither Hills as group winemaker, Lion Nathan NZ.

Ben will retain his responsibility of leading the dynamic young winemaking team at Wither Hills, and will also lead the broader winemaking team for the select New Zealand brands acquired from Pernod Ricard in November 2010.

These brands include New Zealand sparkling wines; Lindauer, Bernadino, Chardon, Aquila, Verde and still wines; Corbans, Huntaway, Saints, Timara, Jackman Ridge, Riverlands, and Bensen Block.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to head up the expanded Lion Nathan NZ winemaking team,” says Glover.

“It will be a pleasure to ensure these wineries are invigorated and nourished as a vital part of our global winemaking family,” says Glover.
