Goldwater sells out of Marlborough

Winemaker Goldwater has sold its stake in Rapaura Vintners, the production company in Marlborough in which it held a one third stake. Goldwater was taken over by Foley Family Wines of California in 2009 as part of its purchase of Vavasour and the other winemaking assets of the New Zealand Wine Fund, and now all Goldwater wines are processed at Vavasour in the Awatere Valley.
